As a anime fan, I always wanted to know what is coming up, what is screening this season, when will the anime be shown (on which day and what time), what movies would be coming...
The list is endless
And there are currently many websites out there that do just that. They publish the anime screenings in a calendar format and even allow you to sign up to their website and control a "Anime Calendar" of your own. A calendar which contains all the anime that you want to watch.
However, to me, that is all pretty much unnecessary. And I was pretty choosy. I wanted a nicely designed website, which provides all the information that I want and need in an uncluttered UI and I found it!!!
From AnimeNewsNetwork: As a child, Raku Ichijo made a secret promise with his childhood sweetheart, keeping a pendant as a memento while his love took the key. He dreams of one day meeting his past love, but years later, reality smashes his hopes when Chitoge Kirisaki accidentally knees him in the face. Though Raku's a normal high schooler, his family heads the notorious yakuza gang the Shuei-Gumi faction. And he's dragged into family affairs when he's forced into a relationship with Chitoge, the daughter of a rival gang's boss.
This manga was one of my favorites and I have been following it ever since it debuted in Japan. Although one can say that this is just another romance comedy but I think its not just that. Its a romance comedy with a touch of mystery and slice of life elements. In the manga, there was extensive character development and it explained why Chitoge, Raku and all the people around him act that way.
Of course, when its animated, I got even more excited and pretty much enjoyed the whole anime experience; like watching how the characters get animated, the opening songs and ending songs. The anime is animated by the same director of Monogatari series (don't know whether any of you guys recognize that). For those who went through the Monogatari series and adapted to its animation style, they will find that this style is one that is pretty good for this manga since the manga doesn't cover a lot of content within each chapter and animating it traditionally would just make the story slow and boring. Unfortunately, for those who have not experienced the Monogatari series, most of you will be like; "What the hell is this? Why such rapid transitions?!"
Trust me, its actually good. But it takes some time to get used to it.
